OUR PRODUCTION

Every year, several hundred tonnes of top-quality locally sourced food products are used to make french fries, strudel, dumplings, pancakes, pastries, and other sweet treats at our sites in Wolfern, Vienna and Hollabrunn. Our manufacturing machinery operates six days a week, 24 hours a day. The highest quality standards and most stringent safety controls guarantee premium quality and transparency for the end consumer.

PRODUCTION IN WOLFERN, UPPER AUSTRIA

State-of-the-art production lines at our production site in Wolfern in Upper Austria manufacture more than 8,000 tonnes of high-quality food products annually, including Kaiserschmarrn shredded pancakes, crêpe-style pancakes, yeast dumplings, sweet and savoury dumplings, and semolina dumplings.

PRODUCTION IN VIENNA – OUR STRUDEL DOUGH MANUFACTORY

Original Viennese strudel dough along with sweet and savoury strudels are prepared according to a patented process in Vienna, the pastry capital. Following traditional recipes based on natural ingredients, some 800 km of strudel are produced every year – roughly the equivalent of the distance between Vienna and Rome.

PRODUCTION IN HOLLABRUNN, LOWER AUSTRIA

Bauernland potato products are produced in the heart of the Weinviertel region, an area traditionally known as a potato-growing district. Over 220 farmers under contract from the Weinviertel region, Marchfeld, and Burgenland supply the potatoes that are processed into french fries, roesti, croquettes, and other potato specialties.

CERTIFIED FOOD SAFETY

Our products are subjected to the strictest quality and safety controls from the raw material through production to delivery. In addition to the legally stipulated external controls, a system of voluntary self-supervision is in place to ensure end-to-end monitoring.
